Step-by-Step DU SOL Registration Process

1. Access the Admission Portal

  • Visit the official website: sol.du.ac.in.

  • Look for the link labeled “UG Admission” or “PG Admission” (depending on the level of study you are seeking).

2. Start New Registration

  • On the admission dashboard, click on the “New Registration” button.

  • Read the instructions carefully regarding document sizes and eligibility before proceeding.

3. Fill in Your Basic Details You will be asked to provide the following information to create your account:

  • Username: Choose a unique name for your login.

  • Full Name: Enter your name exactly as it appears on your Class 10th or 12th certificates.

  • Email Address: Use an active and valid email, as all official communication and your verification link will be sent here.

  • Password: Create a strong password (minimum 6 characters).

  • Mobile Number: Provide a working 10-digit mobile number for SMS alerts.

4. OTP Verification

  • After submitting the registration form, you will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered email address.

  • Enter the OTP on the portal to verify your account.

5. Complete Your Profile

  • Once verified, log in using your Email ID and the Password you just created.

  • You can now proceed to fill out your academic details, upload necessary documents (like your photograph, signature, and mark sheets), and pay the registration fee.


Important Things to Remember

  • One Email, One Account: You can only create one registration per email address.

  • Document Readiness: Have scanned copies of your photo, signature, and relevant certificates (10th/12th/Caste) ready in JPG or PDF format as specified by the portal.

  • Save Your Credentials: Keep your login password safe; you will need it to track your admission status and download your fee receipt later.
